GROUNDED HARMONY IN NYC
Performance alert! Our next live show will be on September 19th at 7pm at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe.
No drink minimum and lots of a cappella! Some new music, some old favorites and some new spins on classic arrangements.
We’re back to six with our newest member making her debut today! Meet Karaline, who comes to us from New Jersey! You can read more about her on our ‘ABOUT‘ page.
Check her out in our rendition of This is Me from The Greatest Showman!
We wanted to pop back in to share this video of us singing at Birdland in NYC last night for Harmony on Broadway! Jake Odmark whipped up this arrangement for us, and he and Brian Cali put together this show of absolutely amazing vocalists. We were absolutely floored to be a part of such an amazing event, and so honored to be the first people outside the original broadway cast to sing something from Pretty Woman: The Musical.
This weekend we were up in Boston, competing in the 2019 Harmony Sweepstakes Regional! The competition was awesome, and everyone’s set was really great. In the end, we came home with a Best Vocal Percussion and a Best Original Arrangement for You’re Nobody Til Somebody Loves You, which means we’ve now won every individual award you can win at Harmony Sweepstakes. 😉
We had an awesome weekend meeting everyone and feeling the a cappella love, and felt like our performance went really well. Now we’re exhausted and onto the next thing!
You can check out our set below:

1. We’re stoked to intro our new beatboxer, Aldon! We think he’s pretty awesome.
2. His first show with us will be Friday, February 15th for Blue Jupiter’s A Cappella Party at Green Room 42. Hope to see you guys there!
3 months ago, we competed in the New York regional competition of the Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival a man down and were honored to receive an Honorable Mention from the judges as well as the awards for Best Original Song and Best Vocal Percussion. Now that we’re back at full strength, we wanted to share that set with you, starting with “Shape of You” from Ed Sheeran!
Since Lorde dropped her new album today, we figured it was a pretty good day to post our version of the first single from that album, Greenlight. It’s a little different from the original and maybe a little…latin? But maybe not — you can listen and decide for yourself!
our  music director, Caitlin, has been feeling a little nostalgic, and came up with this pretty rad arrangement of The Chain by Fleetwood Mac!
