Upcoming Performances – April 29th

Hey Concrete fans — come see us in the musical line-up for one of the Queens International Night Market’s Preview Days on Saturday, April 29th. We’ll be performing alongside other NYC bands like bridges and powerlines and Bette Smith.

Tickets are $5 and half the proceeds go toward local charities. Get tickets HERE.

About Queens International Night Market:

With the coming of spring, The Queens International Night Market is starting up again. They’re offering LIMITED $5 tickets to minimize traffic, congestion, and the impact on the surrounding community. Half of the ticket proceeds will go to NYC charities!

Along amazing food vendors they’ll be unveiling some new games and activities for visitors. And we will have our popular Beer & Wine Garden, so bring your IDs if you’re interested in adult beverages!

we won things!

Hey everyone!

We spent the last few weeks preparing for and competing in the 2017 New York Regional Harmony Sweepstakes Competition. We wrote an original song, did choreography for the first time EVER (note to self: we are not dancers,) and generally had an awesome time coming together to accomplish a rockin’ set.

In the end, we walked away with three awards: Best VP (Rizumik), Best Original Song and 4th Place!

in which all we sing is Ed Sheeran songs.

but actually, we did Thinking Out Loud for Debra and Taylor (congrats on your engagement!) and then he put out a new album, so we just had to cover Shape of You.

you are the best thing!

Happy New Year from all of us at Concrete! The holiday season brought us many gigs in the form of helping couples get engaged. We love being a part of such a special occasion (even if it is kind of nerve wracking!) So far, we have a 100% success rate.

rizumik’s a star, boy.

We’re finishing off this year with some new music and the introduction of our new beatboxer — Rizumik! We’re super excited to have him cause a) he’s pretty awesome and b) our sound just isn’t complete without beatboxing.
